Pinwheels For Peace Project. September 2008

Students in grades third through fifth participated in an international art installation project this year! Each student created a personal pinwheel that contained feelings about what peace is for them and for the world.  Students wrote about what peace looked, felt, tasted, smelled, and sounded like on their pinwheel.  We used manilla folders cut into 9x9 inch squares and  3 foot wooden dowels to display our pinwheels outside of the school.
