Intermediate students participated in the making of a gigantic accordion fold book this fall! Students explored the idea of peace through color harmonies of analogous colors with watercolor studies.  Reflecting on these color relation ships allowed students build an understanding of peaceful relationships.  Students used their watercolor paintings in a mixed media piece was turned into an accordion fold book with two sides.  One side depicted what peace looks like at school and the other depicted what peace meant to the student.  Students worked in class groups to bind all the pages together to tell a story of peace with the image sequence.
